When I was told I was heading over to the Playboy Club, I didn’t quite know what to expect. Would there be nudity? Would there be perverse men? Would I be the only girl? But I was totally wrong, it’s quite the classy way to spend an evening.
Having been part of an event, the champagne and divine canapés were kept flowing at a steady pace, but obviously if you’re reading this you’re not going to be interesting in my freebies, you’re going to want to know about the scantily clad females!
Yes, the girls were dressed as bunnies, yes they were all stunning, and yes they pose for photos!
With that out of the way, the club itself has much to offer with a lounge, bar, casino, restaurant and the newly opened grooming salon. In the bar we were sat there was a band, well I say band it was a trumpet, double bass and the bizarre addition on an xylophone, which in all honesty was quite nice!
I would definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area, just to see what all the fuss is about. The drinks are quite pricey, but when you have Salvatore Calabrese throwing glasses around, and producing the cocktails, it’s well worth it.
