London Living with an Alternative Twist!

Foodies Festival, London.

There is no better way that spending a Saturday afternoon at a Foodies Festival at Hampton Court Palace. The food was divine, and the champagne flowed nicely, it was just a shame the rain poured down!

There were cooking demonstrations from Michelin starred and top chefs including Ed Baines, Levi Roots, Martin Blunos, Rachel Green and Cyrus Todiwala who prepared their favourite recipes for you and showed you how to prepare these dishes at home. Jamie Oliver even provided a mini beach complete with deck chairs for those who dared to sit out in the terrible weather.

I have never tried so many different foods in one day, or even learnt so much about food in general. The many stalls offer many tastings, and their owners are more than willing to share their knowledge with you, should you want to know more. The upside of this festival is that many high street brands are there but sold a lower price so you’re able to stock up on your favourites.

If you have little ones there are cookery classes that looked so much fun, sadly I couldn’t get away with joining in! And if you’re able to grab V.I.P tickets you get priority into the master classes, and your own private tent, which served as a great use whilst tucking into the many dishes that I devoured that day!

The Foodies Festival has 4 more dates this year all over the United Kingdom, so I’d definitely recommend heading to your closest one to taste some of the yummiest food to tingle your tasetbuds!
