London Living with an Alternative Twist!

Number 38 Clifton, Bristol.

Number 38 Clifton, Bristol, is such a dream, hidden behind this stunning exterior along Upper Belgrave Road which is a sort walk away from everything you could ever need!  The staff were out of this world, some of the best I have ever experienced whilst out on my travels, and the rooms were incredible.

Admittedly we were lucky enough to stay in the stunning suite pictured above, but all rooms were decorated to a very high standard and came with free WiFi, something all working trips need!  The bed was huge, and super comfy, the bath was big enough to hold around 4 people, and the dressing gown and slippers went down a right treat!

The start of breakfast consisted of a very cute little buffet with croissants, cereals, muesli, and fruits with yoghurt.  It then went on to finish with a divine cooked breakfast of your choice.  If you ever get to visit, make sure you try their sausages, they are made by a local butcher to a special recipe that can only be tried there!  There isn’t the option to dine here of an evening, but there are plenty of places locally that will tantalise your taste buds.  The staff are always on hand to help you find something, and even have a little map of places they recommend.  We visited two of these so you’ll have to wait for their reviews!  Our front window had a nice view over The Clifton Downs, and the rear window was out over Bristol.

There’s a lush terrace out the back on the ground floor that is perfect for evening drinks before dinner, and ever stopping by for a light snack for lunch if you’re about.  The views are of very quaint homes painted all different colours, making you feel a million miles away from home.  We weren’t lucky enough to get out there due to having horrid weather, I think that’s quite an excuse to have to go back!

Disclaimer:  This was offered to me by their lovely PR team.
