Ace Beauty Clinic, Shenfield.

As you may have read, myself and the partner in crime headed of to be groomed and spoilt for a morning last week, and here’s my half of the day:

I arrived at Ace Beauty Clinic excited to find out what treatments were in store for me;  I never really treat myself to luxuries like Ace specialise in, so this was a long time coming.

Once I had met my beautician, and been escorted to my treatment room I was told about my first treatment, an exotic coconut rub and milk wrap.  I jumped with joy, I really do neglect  my poor skin, and with working in the city I should look after it a lot better than I do!   My treatment consisted of a traditional Balinese mix of coconut, mungbean, spices and lavender, combined with frangipani monoi to polish up my dull looking skin.

After being scrubed, front and back whilst wearing my luscious disposable knickers, you’re dowsed in warm milk bath to ensure your skin is filled to the brim with moisture, and then you’re cocooned in a wrap and left to snuggle now.  Whilst you wait for your wrap to do what it’s got to do, I was treated to a facial to help my rosacea.  Once that’s complete you hop on over to the shower to scrub down.

Here’s yours truly looking gleaming after washing off the body scrub!

My skin had never felt so amazing after, and even now, a week on, I’m still feeling yummy! Yes, I have began to look after myself a lot better!

The team at Ace made me feel really at ease, despite wearing very little clothing!! They filled me with knowledge of what I was having done, and how I should follow up after my treatment.  I can’t wait to return to have my nails done!

Disclaimer: This was offered to my by their lovely PR team.
