Foodies Festival, Clapham Common.

So the partner in crime and I headed over to the Foodies Festival at their new venue in Clapham Common this weekend.  FF is always one of my favourite summer festivals and this was our third visit, certainly won’t be our last either!

We were lucky enough to have VIP tickets again this year and they are certainly worth purchasing if you ever consider going yourselves.  Once we were in we headed over to the VIP tent to grab our glass of champagne and plan our day!  There is so much going on taking time out to look at the theatre schedules is well worth it as the tickets go very quickly for that!  We picked up some tickets to see the Barbecoa cookery show as I’m quite the Barbecoa fan girl!

Before watching the show we had a wander round and being VIP meant we got a free meal at one of the four main restaurant tents, so of course, we headed over to Barbecoa and tried what they had to offer.  I’m already a fan of their pulled pork so that was an obvious choice for me!  The partner in crime went for their frankfurter and thoroughly enjoyed.

Once our stomachs were lined we made off to see what the stalls had to offer this year, and we found one of our old favourites, Joe & Seph’s popcorn!  I’ve mentioned them before as we’ve often purchased popcorn from them.  We grabbed 6 bags of it this time in all different flavours as a little treat for not being to well recently!

We were really impressed with all of the stalls, we tried great wines, great food and had a really great time!  We purchased a few pasta sauces, one of which we had last night that was amazing, a really lovely bottle of wine for my dad and devoured some of the best ice cream I’ve had without being in Italy!

The Foodies Festival always has such a fantastic atmosphere, and the weather this year was a blessing!  Sun shining, Pimms flowing and lots of live music to just chill out and listen to.  The event is also pet friendly so it’s a nice afternoon out with having to worry about your dog at home!

I can’t wait until next year as we will most certainly be back at least once, and I’m ever considering the August dates this year at Battersea Park!
