Havering and Essex with an Alternative Twist!

Race for Life.

Being the crazy girl I am, I run the 5k for Race for Life with minimum training in what turned to be rather warm weather a few weekends ago.  I managed to raise an amazing £500 for Cancer Research and am so proud of myself!

Here’s my friend and I doing the warm up dancing and helping to kick cancer where it hurts.  It’s such an amazing day and left me feeling so inspired.  I sobbed a fair bit in the process but it really was a great day!

Look, there’s even proof of me running!! I’m not a runner but I managed to do the 5k in 35 minutes, and was really proud of that!  I had great support from my parents, partner in crime and my friends family.  They certainly spurred me on for the final sprint!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored me!
