Whilst at Longleat we stayed in the Archangel in Frome, which is about a 15 minute journey from the safari park. It had such great value for money, super reviews and the location was perfect.
We had a standard room that was off the courtyard that was stunning. A large bed, beautiful bathroom, and plenty of space. For some reason I didn’t take any room snaps; I’ve let the team down!
Another upside to the Archangel is the restaurant and bar that is part of it, so we needed not go very far for our evenings entertainment. Perfect as the weather wasn’t in our favour!
The food was brilliant! We had breads and meat to share to start followed by a Homemade Confit Chicken & Smoked pancetta Chilli Burger and Gabriel ale battered fish and chips, minted peas, tartar sauce. The food was just so delicious, and washing it down with crisp, cold white wine certainly did the trick!
I can’t recommend Archangel enough, we will definitely be returning!
