London Living with an Alternative Twist!

Essex Bloggers at Crown Street, Brentwood.

This Saturday saw the fourth meet up of the Essex Bloggers hosted at Crown Street in Brentwood. This is a beautiful pedestrian only street that is home to some incredible shops and restaurants.  I was lucky enough to be the organiser of this event and was so pleased with how well it all went, and with how the shops were so welcoming!

Here are some of us bloggers doing the most done thing down Crown Street; posing outside of The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex’s shop…

We were given free reign over all of the shops, shopping until our little hearts were content.  You can tell from the photo above that I didn’t waste much time before buying something! Each shop was kind enough to explain to us what they do and let us snap away!  This meant 10 girls armed with cameras in their element!

There was even a pop up vintage market!

The majority of the shops then closed up, but two, Racquet and Violet Hill, stayed open for private shopping with champagne! How divine!

We then headed to the Gastro Burger Co for a delicious dinner. Masterchef finalist, Chris Georgiou, and chef Anthony Young serve burgers using 30 day dry-aged, grass fed, free range beef.  Each dish is individually seasoned, minced and blended to exact specifications to create what the chefs believe is the perfect burger.  All of the starters and desserts are home made too!  They are rather famous for the Volcano and we could certainly see why…

The burgers were incredible too, we all know that I’m a sucker for a burger and this one was exceptional!

Homemade burger with homemade ketchup and chilli’s, my idea of burger heaven! Don’t get me started on the desserts… You just NEED to visit.

Thank you Crown Street for helping to host a great day!
