London, Food and Travel with an Alternative Twist!

London Marathon Training Update 4.

This week has been a really good one, lots of training and fundraising.

On Friday I held a bake sale in the building I work in and Lola’s Cupcakes were kind enough to donate 24 cupcakes for me to sell for my cause.  Thank you so much Lola’s, the cupcakes went down a right treat! We also had Double Chocolate Oreo Brownies and Choc Chip Cookies that I baked and the lovely Becky brought in 2 cakes!  We raised a total of £55.80, so that takes me to £88.20 in total from bake sales!

I also had a really active weekend towards my training; I did a 5k Race for Life on Saturday in 34 minutes knocking over 2 minutes off my previous time which I was really happy about! The partner in crime and I spend Sunday out in Greenwich and I did over 15,000 steps according to my Nike Fuel band so I was really happy to be out in the sunshine in my favourite part of London! Not pictured here was my 3k run on Monday with the partner in crime, he kept to my speed yet pushed me when I wanted to stop and walk! I’m really getting into this running malarky! Roll on boot camp on Thursday!

If you would like to sponsor me you can do so here.
