Last week I was invited to the #bgomeetup with the Joe Blogs Network, and I was certainly not prepared for such a great night out!
The Prosecco was flowing, and the casino was looking good…
There was one issue; I had no idea how to play Blackjack so I made a bee-line for the table to learn before the gambling began.
We were given £30 of fake money to gamble with and we were off. We even took part in a challenge playing the Jungle Trouble slot game on the big screen to win money for the World Wildlife Foundation. There was a minimum donation of £100 and what we won on the night was added to that, so it all went to a really great cause!
We stopped for some pizza and some selfies with the dinosaur who was named Jeff later on in the night.
We continued to play on into the night and by the end of it I had quite a nice stack, I really thought I’d won the most but sadly I was pipped to the post by Claire!
But all was not lost; I met some incredible bloggers, and had such a great night out!

It was lovely to meet you. You left out the part where you found out you lived about 8 houses away and went to same school as the croupier! BTW – for a novice you held onto your chips well whereas I blew through mine and BeautyQueenUK’s in minutes.
