London Living with an Alternative Twist!

Wanderlusting in the UK

I am all about taking time to take in the country in which I live, I’ve road tripped around parts, and spent weekends in others.

So today I have put together a little snap shot of where in the UK I hope to head to next:

I’ve never been to Ireland and really feel that needs to change! The Giant’s Causeway has always fascinated me; for those that don’t know it’s area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption.

Next up in Portsmouth; I love walks along the river of an evening and experiencing this somewhere other that London seems like a lovely idea!

Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland seems like a legit reason to head to Scotland for the first time!

St.Micheal’s Mount in Cornwall looks phenomenal, in fact Cornwall in general just looks stunning. I’m thinking this could be top of my list!

Where in the UK would you like to visit?

I really need to branch out more and see more places, since mainly I stick to Brighton and London. BUT I am off to Scotland this weekend! I went to Cornwall in September and stayed in Marazion, right across from St Michael’s Mount. The whole area is completely gorgeous. Tiny islands and castles are two of my biggest loves, so I was obviously completely enamoured with the place. And Marazion had an exclusively gluten free pub so… basically I feel like Cornwall was made for me! I highly recommend going.
