PGA Championship with BMW

So being the amazing girlfriend that I am I jumped at the chance to head to the PGA Championship this weekend with BMW as the chap loves his golf!

We headed over to the legendary Wentworth Club, hopped on the park and ride straight to the entrance. Our tickets were checked and then freedom was ours! I say freedom as I’ve never been to such a relaxed sporting event; we could roam wherever we pleased, stand at any hole we wanted and even cross fairways!

Before catching some golf  we obviously spent some time at the BMW stand eyeing up their newest models, if anyone wants to give me an i8 I’m not going to say no!

Not a bad view aye?! This was the 15th hole where we set up camp for a while to see as many different golfers as we could, well until we got hungry!  We had burger and burger and chips should you be wondering how we fed ourselves!

Back to the golf, you’re not meant to take photos of the golfers so just pretend you didn’t see that photo above should anyone ask, I mean I couldn’t blog about this without a few images! We always seemed to get a really good view which surprised me as there were so many people around, everyone was just so relaxed and friendly!

We made sure we saw all the big names that were playing; sadly Rory McIlroy didn’t make the cut so I was gutted to miss him but we saw the likes of An who went on to win, Jaidee who came in second, Fleetwood, Donald, Wood and Rose who are all well known English golfers.

 We had an amazing day and I’m now a newly won over golf fan! We’ve even planned to go back next year armed with a picnic and even booking a local hotel!
