Ideas to Help You Look and Feel Better Than Ever This Year!

If you want to look and feel your best this year, don’t just sit around doing nothing. Too many people complain about not feeling great, but do nothing to make themselves feel better. Use these ideas and see if they help you!

Dye Your Hair a Colour You’ve Always Liked

I always feel better when I take a risk and like the results, just like when I dyed my hair red last week. There’s no guarantee you’ll like the results, but it’s worth a shot, surely? How boring would life be if nobody took risks? I think you should dye your hair a colour you’ve always liked, just for fun. What have you got to lose? Hair can be fixed pretty easily, and at least you’ll never wonder ‘what if’. Don’t worry about what other people think and just go for it!

Have a Daring Hair Cut

Maybe you could go for both the colour and cut. If you’re not feeling that adventurous, choose one or the other. Have a daring haircut and see what happens. Research your face shape and the styles that suit it and you should get a pretty good idea of what will suit you. It’s just a case of biting the bullet and having it chopped off! Hair grows, so if you really want a style you should just go for it. You’ll probably wonder why you didn’t do it sooner!

Overhaul Your Wardrobe

Summer is a brilliant reason to treat yourself to a few new things. Overhaul your wardrobe and get rid of the things you don’t wear or the things you don’t think suit you. It might be hard to detach yourself from those clothes, but you could turn them into money to help you buy new clothes!

Treat Yourself to New Makeup

Makeup expires after a certain while, so don’t hoard it; use it! In fact, treat yourself to a few new bits. Try a new lip or eye colour, and maybe even get something you’ve wanted to try for a while. Some people wear the same makeup all their lives, but I can’t think of anything more boring than that!

Get More Exercise

If you already get a lot of exercise, you can skip this step. However, I find that after exercising I feel so much more upbeat and happy about life! Scientifically this is because exercise releases endorphins, which are the brain’s ‘feel good’ hormone. I also start to look better which helps me to feel better too! Try going on a few short walks a week and see how you feel.

Do a Teatox

Teatoxing can be a good way to kickstart a new healthy lifestyle, but it isn’t a quick fix! If you look online, you’ll find all kinds, from 28 day detox tea to 7 day cycles. Remember, a teatox should always be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and lifestyle! No starving yourself!

Eat for Health

When you eat, eat for health. Fill up on vegetables, fruit, and other natural foods that do your body good. You’ll love the way it makes you feel!
