To help you ensure that you stay looking good even when money is tight, I thought that I would share my top tips with you, below:

Take advantage of sales

At the start of each season, as well as halfway through and at the end, clothes stores tend to have sales. Sometimes they include sales racks with highly discounted stock – this tends to be from the previous season. Often, they also offer deals on new season fashion, such as buy one, get one free deals.

If you want to save money on your clothes shopping, shopping the sales is a real must. To make sure that you don’t miss any of the best sales, sign up to email alerts from all of your favourite stores. That way, whenever one of your fave clothes stores has a sale, you will be notified so that you don’t miss it.

Use accessories to add style

When money is tight, one of the best ways that you can add style to your wardrobe is by investing in accessories. You might not be able to buy a whole new wardrobe, but what you can do is buy a few accessories to freshen up the items that you already have.

Scarves, bags, belts, shoes, and hats, are all ideal for adding style. Have a browse online and in your local fashion stores for the accessories that you like. Looking on Ebay for affordable items.

Sell your old clothes

To make yourself a bit of extra clothes buying money, why not sell your old clothes? If you have any items that are in good condition, but you don’t wear, it makes sense to sell them. You can use sites such as eBay and online selling sites on Facebook to sell your old clothes.

Make sure that any money that you make from selling your old clothes goes towards buying yourself new items. When money is tight, any extra money is great, as it will allow you to buy a few more bits and bobs for your wardrobe.

It can be hard staying stylish on a budget, but it isn’t impossible. If you take note of the tips above, you should be able to stay looking good without overspending. When it comes to buying new items when money is tight, accessories are the key, as they can instantly add style to any outfit.
