London Living with an Alternative Twist!

New Year’s Eve in London 2015

Tickets are no longer available for the London New Year’s Eve with Unicef firework display, but don’t panic, there are plenty of exciting alternatives in the capital if you didn’t manage to get your hands on those tickets.

You could watch the fireworks from some on London’s tallest buildings including Altitude London’s New Year’s Eve in the Sky party; or make it an even more memorable start to 2016 with their pretty impressive VIP package.

New Year’s Eve is a great excuse to put on your best clothes and head out with friends and family for a special New Year’s Eve meal and a few glasses of champagne. There are plenty of places so why not try and grab yourself a reservation at a Michelin-starred restaurant, or a table with a view to soak up the NYE buzz. If you’re treating that special someone, one of these romantic spots will guarantee a special night. I know I’ve got my eye on a few of those!

Depending on how speedy you are, you may be able to get onto a Thames Dinner Cruise; you get a front and centre seat to all of the key landmarks and the fireworks look beautiful from the water.

And if you’re not too hung over…

Continue the fun on 1st January with the New Year’s Day Parade. This year marks the 30th annual parade to march through London and there will be 8,500 performers representing 20 countries world-wide and from across the London Boroughs, including marching bands, cheerleaders, clowns, acrobats and much more.

Have fun!
