I would definitely class myself as a bit of a Londoner these day; I work here, and have done for seven years, and I play here, so when I found this ‘How well do you know your London landmarks?’ quiz I was all over it!
I got 8/10 and was slightly disappointed that I couldn’t get all ten correct, I blame the Essex Girl in me not wanting to be labelled a Londoner!
When it comes to London landmarks, I have a few favourites, so I’m going to share them with you.
St Paul’s is stunning, even Shaun the Sheep wanted to get involved! Did you know that it was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1962, and the dome is among the highest in the world.
Another photobomb by that cheeky sheep, but this snap gets two of my favourites in one shot; The Tower of London to the left and, just behind Shaun is City Hall. I love the contrast of these two buildings. In front of City Hall is The Scoop, an amphitheatre with great free shows; I’ve even performed there once!
And my last favourite…
I love this photo taken by the chap from our hotel room when I ran the London Marathon. I love Tower Bridge, and every time we left the room we’d run back to the window to see it in different lighting!
