National Pet Month

This month is National Pet Month, and today also happens to the be the puppies fourth birthday!

The lovely team over at Ocean Loans offered to help us celebrate and in true crazy dog lady form I quickly barked yes at them! Celebrating National Pet Month and their birthday is a luxury so Ocean Loans wanted us to celebrate in style without having any financial worries; thanks guys!

I headed over to Lily’s Kitchen to chose my gift for the girlies, and these are what I went for…

The puppies have dry food for breakfast and dinner, but we always add some meat/moist foods on top so they enjoy their dinner times and these tins always go down so well! I got them a few in a gift box a Christmas and they ‘woofed’ their food down quicker than I had ever seen them do before!

I love the flavours they offer, my mum was really impressed by the Wild Boar option!

The puppies get a lot of treats as dad is a bit of a push over when it comes to those pair, so I thought stocking up would be a great idea. I bought a few versions of the calming snacks as they have a little treat before they go to bed and night and these would be perfect!

So, the fun part, giving them the gifts!

So Chung was rather calm on the approach, checking out the box before…

Chess dived in and wanted to see what was in there…

I do think it got their seal of approval, as when they found their favourites, fish skins, this happened…

Safe to say this was a total success and the puppies have had an awesome National Pet Month and Birthday!
