London, Food and Travel with an Alternative Twist!

Instaupdate; May.

I  know I say this every time but seriously, where is this year going? We’re pretty much halfway through and it’s zooming past!

But as ever, here’s my monthly update…

What a busy month it was; I’m going to work across this line from left to right so you can make sense of what I’m wafflign about!

We had a night in with friends and tried the amazing Pothecary Gin, we spent two nights saying goodbye to Funeral  for a Friend which was emotional to say the least, and my mumma celebrated her birthday so we scrubbed up for dinner at Pipe of Port in Southend.

I spend 5 hours getting my hair dyed blue at Not Another Salon, ate at the awesome Lucky Chip, got a Gondola to the House of Peroni, and there were burgers on en route at the lush Dukes. On the way home we stopped for cocktails, as you do. I found a new friend in JJ and we spent the weekend in London with megabus, the other half of the Funeral for a Friend gig, and a canvas we acquired at Thom Foole’s House Party.

There were a few car shows thrown in; The Hare and London Motor Show, a vegan pizza at FED by water and a chicken based afternoon tea at Ma Pluckers.

We received a lovely gift from Bespoke and Oak which will be featured late on this week, I’m still so in love with my blue hair, healthy brunches to shed some weight, Lush bath bomb chill time complete with candles to get rid of a killer headache, and adding some more finishing touches to my nautical bathroom.

We had amazing paella at the In-Laws, met the team behind these insane Bluetooth speakers, and played FIFA for the first time in about 15 years and lost!

We formed girl bands at lunch with Cadbury’s, I spent the weekend in Bristol with JJ and megabus, and spent the journey home reading; something I don’t make enough time for.

How was your May?
