As the weather has certainly taken a turn for the worst; the sun has disappeared and the rain is falling outside the window which has got us thinking about winter wardrobes and the items we will be investing in to keep us warm in the cooler ones.
Mike will be taking the lead with his wishlist from Jacamo…
Can you tell that our wardrobes work on the same colour scheme; we both love red and blue clothing!
These options come from jumpers, coats and shirts. And we think the red check shirt would work really well under the blue jumper for extra warmth and the blue shirt could be quite quirky just showing under the fair isle print jumper. Crew neck jumpers always work so well with a shirt collar just peeking through, it looks really smart but keeps you warm too.
With the double pack of jumpers, these are ideal for more casual affairs and are perfect for lounging around in on those film and duvet days. Their soft sweatshirt material so would be super cosy too. I’m a sucker for stealing jumpers like this to curl up in, so it makes sense that Mike gets a few more in! Having read the reviews on the Jacamo site, everyone that owns them have stated how great value for money they are and how good quality they are so they’re a total winner really.
The jacket is less of a full blown winter item, but will cover the in-between months when the weather is a little drizzly, but not to cold, much like the weather we have outside today. The distressed look military-inspired coat never really goes out of fashion which makes them a great investment to use time and again. And again, it can be dressed up and dressed down for all occasions.
All of these items would go perfectly with a pair of jeans and desert boots, or chinos and smart shoes depending on the event. We both really like clothing that can be used for more than one occasion.
