I know I say it every month, but seriously, where is this year going? September felt as though it was about a week long!
We did lots of nice bits and bobs this month including a weekend in Margate, where Mike won me a Minion that we called Winston! I went to Centre Parc in Nottingham with 90 other awesome humans and will blog about that shortly! I also dined in Kings Cross at the amazing Dishoom with drinks at The Lighterman first.
I hosted my first #TCRBlogger Meet Up, that’s Tottenham Court Road for those who aren’t so down with the kids! I also dined at The Big Easy in Canary Wharf with my parents and Mike’s family, was a lovely afternoon with much food and drink!
A few of our friends have started getting married and having children so we don’t hang out as often as we should but we did have a lovely impromptu trip to a farm in Norfolk with some of them! I was lucky enough to be taken along to The 1975 at The Apple Music Fesitval and it was so good! We spent the last evening of September at the British Museum with my parents as we went to see the #SunkenCities exhibition and I can’t recommend it enough, and we celebrated a friends 30th in a lovely pub in Exmouth Market.
We did so much eating this month… we tried the incredible Sunday Lunch at The Chophouse and it was so good we’ve made 3 more bookings! I tried the new lunch menu at Herman Ze German and whoever thought to put roasted veggies on a bratwursts is a genius. One of my poor pups had to have a leg operation and she’s mending up quite nicely. We also popped along to the #AsicsSecretGig where I got gifted those stunning trainers that match my jacket perfectly.
