Havering and Essex with an Alternative Twist!

Super Smoothie Recipes *

As you all know, I’m running the 2017 London Marathon so a lot of training is happening; we run, we HIIT, we boot camp and we gym. I say we as I’ve roped Mike into training with me to ensure I put my all in and to drag me out on days I just wanna pop my onesie on and watch crap TV. As a bid to get fitter I have changed my diet up and drinking smoothies is part of that so I thought why not share a few of my favourite ones with you…

Need to cool down after a tough workout? Then this Orange Dream Smoothie is for you.

SERVINGS: 1

1 navel orange, peeled
¼ cup of fat-free yogurt
2 Tbsp frozen orange juice concentrate

Stay full up for longer with this Strawberry-Kiwi Smoothie. It’s a high-fiber recipe with oodles vitamin C.

SERVINGS: 4

1¼ c cold apple juice
1 ripe banana, sliced
1 kiwifruit, sliced
5 frozen strawberries
1½ tsp honey

Drinking this Green Juice will leave you feeling fabulous. As it contains parsley that is loaded with Vitamin C and iron it’s so great for your body.

SERVINGS: 1

1 and 1⁄2 cups coconut water
1 handful kale
1 handful spinach
5 stalks celery
1 apple, cored and chopped
Juice from 1 lemon
1⁄2 bunch parsley

I have also been trying out Lifebox goodies and love, love, love all of the little sachets of goodness.

It’s really helping me with my uptake of vitamins and superfoods!
