I can spend up to three hours a day on trains to and from work. It’s the bain of my life. I hate it, but it’s a means to an end. I have to go to work so I have to get there! Yes, I know I could work closer to home, but I love my job so that won’t be happening!
The team at GoToMeeting have squashed lots of numbers and put together this infographic, which totally backs up why the tube is the bain of my life.
11 days of my life, each year, are spent with people invading my personal space on the Central Line; how awful?!
I would love to work from home, just one day a week, as that would save me way more than three hours a month… it’d be closer to 10 hours, which I could spend with family, with friends or maybe training for that London Marathon I’ve got to run shortly!
I genuinely don’t think that the TfL could cope with any more people as the Central Line is already bursting at the seams during rush hour, it’s awful trying to squish on and find somewhere to hold. Even more so when they are delayed which is more often than not!
