London, Food and Travel with an Alternative Twist!

Still Not Drinking?! *

As part of my London Marathon training I’ve cut out all alcohol! Yep, that’s almost 4 months without the good stuff, so the total babes over at 31 Dover have sent me over a super alternative!

Seedlip, the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirits brand, is on a mission to solve the ‘what-to-drink-when-you’re-not-drinking-alcohol’ dilemma. It means I can feel all fancy with a glass of this and it be something different than a glass of Coke when we have friends over.

Creator Ben Branson became frustrated with the availability of sweet, fizzy drinks as the only alternatives to alcohol, as was I to be honest. It’s beer o’clock at work and my options are Diet Coke, Coke or Orangina, it gets boring after a couple of weeks. Made like a gin with botanicals that are distilled in copper pots, Seedlip combines allspice, grapefruit, lemon peel, cardamom, American oak and cascarilla bark to make a fresh, warming drink that is full of flavour but alcohol-free.

Not only is this super drink alcohol-free, Seedlip has just 0.2 calories per 50ml serve, is sugar-free, sweetener-free and allergen free too, so it’s even better for my marathon training as I can enjoy it guilt free! Seedlip allows those not drinking the same social rituals of making a gin and tonic at home.

Seedlip allows those not drinking the same social rituals of making a gin and tonic at home. Boasting a sophisticated profile with strong clove and citrus top notes, sip long with premium tonic and a large citrus slice.

It really is that simple to make, 50ml of Seedlip and 100ml of Fever Tree Tonic, over ice. You can add a slice of lemon or even some cucumber if you really want to gin it up!

We loved trying this as it really opens up my options for the next few months and has so much flavour! You could call me a convert!
