When it comes to summer shoes, I’m not your sandal and flip flop kinda gal. I’m all about bold coloured trainers and keeping these little toes of mine hidden. After running marathons and all the training I’m so conscious of my feet as they tend to take a good battering so I like to give people a better reason to check out my feet with my choice of shoes!
I’m off to a couple of festivals in July in Spain and Malta so I’m in the process of looking for fun outfits and comfy shoes for dancing the days and nights away with my girl gang. I’d ideally want to grab myself some Low Top Sneakers as I know they’ll be most comfortable for the sick shapes I’m going to be throwing out there.
My top three so far are all so different, so I’m sharing here today for you to help make my mind up!
These insanely cool slip on’s are from George J. Love, a brand I hadn’t heard of before and I’m so in love with a load of his designs. They are denim with floral embroidered detailing which isn’t something I thought I’d end up liking with an elasticised gore complete with leather lining and a durable rubber sole. I think they’re more then perfect for dancing until the early hours.
So these beauts from Minna Parikka scream festival fun at me; plenty of glitter, the detachable star application that I’d never take off, the solid purple colour that happens to be one of my favourites of the moment, leather lining to keep my feet comfy when I’m throwing my hands in the air like I just don’t care, and the suede effect is so in fashion right now. They’ve got it all right?
So these bad boys aren’t totally out of the norm for me, I live in Converse, but I don’t any this awesome! The wedge heel would make me that bit taller too which anyone my height will tell you is a bonus at gigs and festivals! You also know they’re going to be super comfy as all Converse are. And I’m super keen on the shiny blue look they’ve got going on too.
So, make my life a little easier and let me know which ones you think I should be shaking what my Mumma gave me in this summer?!
