Italian Wanderlusting *

I’ve got my wanderlust fever back big time this week; I want to be anywhere but London after seeing so many holiday and festival photos on my feed! I need some sun, sand, and fun, and I think I’ve found the perfect destination for Mike and I!

Pra’ Delle Torri in Italy, not too far from Venice, has not only an 18 hole golf course but a waterpark, beach, acres upon acres of green space for long walks and plenty of restaurants to while away our evenings in. Pra’ Delle Torri has been just Awarded Trip Advisor Travellers Choice 2017 so you know it’s going to exceed your expectation and be a great place to spend a chilled out week. It’s also ranked in the top 20 hotels in the whole of Italy!

The resort is based in the wonderful coastal town of Caorle; a town founded in the 1st century BC by Romans which seems crazy to be able to comprehend and it also played a huge part in the First World War which means there will be plenty of history around for the nerd in me! Pra’ Delle Torri is also ranked best hotel in the area!

Rumour also has it that the food in the area is meant to be amazing! Well, we all know the food in Italy is always good so my little self would be very happy in an area with great food and drink! I quite like the sound of trying the Veneto special of Venetian liver, or Fegato Alla Veneziana in Italian, served with potatoes and polenta.

In Pra’ Delle Torri there is the option of camping, but for me, I’d want to stay in one of the apartments. The campsite has differently sized bays for tents and campervans, and there are washroom, sinks for washing up available on site. The apartments are around the green spaces so would be stunning and it’s nice to have a bedroom to retreat back to after a day of fun-filled activities.

The weather in Italy is always going to be better than the weather we have here at home too, so that’s a winner right?
