London Living with an Alternative Twist!

Turning 29!

Today I turn the grand old age of 29 and I always like to do a little round up post to celebrate; it’s become a bit of a Squibb Vicious tradition over the past seven years! It’s also nice to look back as the years rush past to see what I was chuffed with around my birthday! So here are 28 things I have achieved in my 28th orbit around the sun!

I quit a job I hated not long after turning 28 and become freelance!

I registered Squibb Vicious Media as a real company!

We filmed our first wedding and photographed one too.

We became members of the National Trust – which I bloody love!

I joined Dog Trust and sponsor Mike the Staffie Cross each month.

I photographed the London Marathon with Anthony Nolan as they’re my favourite charity!

We climbed part of Mount Snowdonia and flew our drone too, you can watch that video here!

I made fresh pasta for the first time ever and it was so much fun!

I discovered a ton of wonderful hidden gems in Leicester Square!

I did indoor archery for the first time in years, although I am still useless, I still loved trying it again!

We took a Long Bow Archery class and I hit the target…. once or twice!

I found a style of dress that made me feel great about myself.

I traveled up and down the country alone to visit my wonderful blogger babes.

We took some of my most favourite photos whilst on a stay at North Star Club.

I learnt how to taste and appreciate whisky at The Scotch Whisky Experience.

I was invited to be an ambassador for ibis hotels and traveled to new places with them.

We joined a wine club and I’ve been taught so much about wines!

I visited two new countries; Luxembourg and Czech Republic.

I didn’t come last at the Big London Bake!

I reduced my meat intake by around 80% and only cook veggie foods at home.

I learnt how to do winged eyeliner and not look like I have a black eye!

I went to my first ever supper club!

I spent time with friends drinking cocktails I hadn’t seen in years.

I hit a major target for my house fund and have upped that to see how much more I can save.

I took some time out for myself to ensure my mental health was in tip-top condition.

I learnt how to greatly improve my sleep and have stuck to it!

I went on an awesome press trip overseas with my best blogger buddy, Hayley.

And lastly, I lasted another year with my favourite human, Mike!
