Hen Party Ideas For All Tastes and Budgets *

*This is a collaborative post.

Want to celebrate your hen party without it being a night on the tiles? Maybe you’re teetotal or pregnant so can’t drink, or perhaps you just fancy doing something a little different. Hen parties are known for being crazy and fuelled with alcohol but they don’t have to be that way, it can be whatever you want it to be. Here are some hen party ideas to consider:

For the frazzled bride to be: pamper day

Planning a wedding is a stressful affair, with so much to do and so many plates to keep spinning in preparation for your big day, chances are you might be feeling a little frazzled. So what better way to relax and unwind than to spend time getting pampered with the rest of your hens. Book a spa and you can enjoy massages, manicures, pedicures, mud baths and more. It’s a more classy way to enjoy your hen party too if getting really boozy and going wild on a night out isn’t really your scene.

For the adventure: paintballing

Why should the boys have all the fun? Paintballing might be popular for stag parties but it doesn’t mean you have to rule it out for yourself! If you love being active and are a bit of an adventurer and your friends are the same kind of way then this can be an excellent, memorable way to spend your time. Better still, if you’re slimming down before your big day it will burn off massive amounts of calories with all of the running around!

If you’re someone that takes the competition really seriously, then why not treat yourself to the Best Speedball Guns beforehand and even sneak in some practice! You will blow away all the other attendees and ensure your team the win!

For the culture lover: theatre

Do you love nothing more than watching a live show? Why not go to the theatre to celebrate your hen night, it’s more glamorous than the cinema and gives you the chance to dress up without the need to drink or go to a bar or party. There’s always a great atmosphere at the cinema, and with so many different shows to watch and different venues (from local theatres to the biggest and most well known ones!) there’s something for everyone.

Hostess with the mostess: party at home

Do you love throwing parties and entertaining guests? Then why not throw your own hen party at home? You could base it on a theme, or just serve dinner and drinks. The great thing about going down this route is that you could make it as expensive or budget friendly as you like and it’s totally customisable to what you and your friends enjoy.  Another bonus is that there’s no queuing, no travel costs and you get to stay in your own comfy home while you celebrate.
