After waking up at 3.30am we arrived in Madrid for 10am, not too bad really! We tackled the trains and the Metro to get over to our apartment that we had rented from Air B&B for 12 to meet the very lovely Sergio! The apartment was perfect; location spot on and the sofa a little too comfy!
We then spent the afternoon out wandering in our local area, and managed to take in a hell of a lot of sights, including Torres, Colon, Palacio de Cibeles, Fuente de Cibeles, Fuente de Neptuno, Biblioteca Nacional, Jardines del Descrubimento, Mudeo Thyssen Bournemisza, Congreso de Los Diputados, Mercado de San Miguel and Edifico Metropolis.
