WOW. If there was ever a restaurant that exceed expectations ten fold, then this is it! We visited for Dad’s birthday and I was blown away by the food, and prices! Admittedly I was rather sad to see the mexican that was in its place prior to Bistro 101 leave our high street, but this is a very welcome replacement!
We left super full up, so here’s a little sneaky preview into our foods…
Mum and Dad shared the Pate starter, and the partner in crime and I shared the Scallops with Black Pudding. These were both divine and the plates were near enough licked clean!
Our mains consisted of Lamb with chips and a mini Shepard’s Pie, and a bun-less homemade burger and chips in peppercorn sauce.
We also had Ribeye steak that was served with chips, and bangers and mash!
All plates were left empty and there was not one complaint in site! The burger was amazing is heading towards the top of my burger hunt list!! Not having the bun meant the flavour was really appreciated and meant I didn’t have to consume more calories than I really needed to!
I can’t wait to return!
