Mother’s Day is one day of the year I really look forward to, I get to spend the day with Mumma Squibb doing lush things and there’s no better way to spend it than having afternoon tea!
We were invited to the Millennium Hotel in Mayfair for a fantastic event that both Mumma and I thoroughly enjoyed!
Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and lots of other lovely bloggers with their mums. We were then whisked around the hotel in a whirlwind tour to see the stunning rooms and suites.
Our first stop on our tour was the boardrooms available for meetings, the banquet hall for weddings and big events and the stunning foyer. I had no idea the hotel had so many huge rooms hidden behind it’s stunning façade.
The rooms and suites were so luxurious. A lot of London hotels are beautiful in the public areas but tired in the rooms, this is far from the case here; the rooms were spotless and impeccably designed.
Oh the Afternoon Tea was awesome too! With four sandwiches; cucumber, salmon and cream cheese, chicken and egg and cress, to chose from, raisin and plain scones and of course a plate filled with the finest delicacies.
The food was divine, the company was pretty good too; lots of lovely bloggers!
I will certainly be returning to try the next lot of seasonal sandwiches and try out one of their amazing looking beds!
