If you’re trying to find a bunch of fun things to do in the UK, look no further my lovelies! Here I have 10 great things you can do that all have their own unique benefits. There’s something to suit everyone, whether you’re a football hooligan or nature geek. Enjoy!
Have a Day Out in London
I literally could have just said have a day out in London and stolen 10 things from there, but I’ll let it have just one space here. There’s way too much to do in London to mention it all, but here are a few things you can do:
Shop.
Watch a show.
Eat delicious food.
Find vintage and antique bargains.
See attractions like Big Ben and the Tate gallery.
Shop. Oh, I already said that.
Go Walking
This won’t be considered fun for some of you, but wait before you judge. Walking is exercise, and exercise helps to release endorphins. Endorphins make us happy, what’s more fun than that? Depending on where you’re from, there are a ton of places you can go walking the UK. The peak district is beautiful, to name just one fabulous place.
The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour
Who doesn’t love the Beatles? Even if you feel indifferent about them, this tour will enlighten you and probably spark a love for them you never realised you could have. You’ll learn all about the Fab Four, where they came from, and some interesting facts about how they started. You shouldn’t miss it!
Alton Towers Theme Park
If you love roller coasters, this should be on everybody’s to do list. Alton Towers is so popular for a reason. I suggest you save the Alton Towers telephone number 0844 545 7923 for later.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Blackpool pleasure beach is another fun theme park you can visit, and you can explore Blackpool while you’re at it. If you’ve never enjoyed the bright lights of Blackpool, you’re missing out. Don’t expect luxury though!
Watch Some Football
The UK are known for being huge football fans, and even those who aren’t regular football fans appreciate a good game when they see one. Those who are feeling particularly lucky may even go to somewhere like this website here to figure out where is going to be best to place that bet they are planning to. Head to one of the many football grounds to see what all the fuss is about!
Go on Safari
There are a couple of good safari parks in the UK, so take your pick. You can see animals you probably wouldn’t see in your standard zoo, like Giraffes. If you’re an animal lover, you can even feed certain animals.
Go to a Festival
The UK has some amazing festivals; Reading, Leeds, and V to name just a few of them. Music lover? Make sure you go to at least one!
Watch a Gig
Rather than go to a full on festival, why not go watch a gig in a cramped pub? Sounds uncomfortable, but it’s so much fun!
Eat Fish and Chips by the Sea
Head to the sea and order the famous UK dish, fish and chips. It always tastes better when you can smell the salty air to go along with it.
