The lovely folks over at Jus-Rol asked a while back if I’d like to make my own recipe using some of their products and this was my favourite.
This was a pretty quick dinner and it tasted amazing!
All that’s needed is puff pastry sheets cut into squares, tomato puree, cheese and your choice of topping; we opted for chicken and chorizo with chopped onion. I think everything we cook has onion in!
Preheat oven to 200ºC. We filled the bases with out toppings, and popped them in the oven for 20 minutes but did keep an eye on them. Whilst this was happening we pan fried the chicken separately.
Once the bases were done we added the chicken, spinkled a little more cheese over the top and popped them under the grill to melt it.
We served with steak cut chips and lashings of ketchup!
There’s a similar recipe here on Jus-Rol.
Let me know if you try these!
