The lovely Penny over at A Penny for Them has tagged myself in The Bloggers Interview, so here goes…
How did you get into blogging?
Whilst at Uni my tutor encouraged us to start a blog to share our coursework with the class to help each other out, when I got bored of that I decided a music blog for unsigned bands was a super idea. I think that lasted about a year, maybe slightly longer but it’s a struggle to find new bands to blog about all the time! I then started my first full time job for a company that gave me some incredible chances to travel, and to eat foods I’d never dreamt of eating so I felt it was time for a new blog to share these adventures!
What advice would you give another blogger who is just starting out?
I would say find a niche, and start out there, then broaden yourself out a little. It’s hard work starting a blog so covering one or two topics you’re passionate about will make it easier to write content for. As you get used to it and have built up your readership then expand!
How has your blog changed since you started writing it?
The layout has changed a good few times, but the name has always been the same! I’m finally really happy with the look of my blog! The content has always been very varied but fitness was a new angle that I hadn’t tried before this year.
What would be your dream campaign?
To be sent on a round the world trip all expenses paid! I wished! I thinking working with a big car brand on trailing new cars, hint hint Audi & Jaguar! I’ve worked with tonnes of great brands so I can’t complain!
Do you have a plan for your blog?
Just to keep my content interesting and make sure my heart is fully in it!
What do you think about ratings?
I think they’re just for brands to work with when outreaching campaigns. I’m not fused by my ratings as I’m happy just doing what I’m doing!
