Teatum Jones were one of the recipients of this year’s CFE Pioneer award; an incredibly prestigious mentoring programme connecting them with top name industry experts from all aspects of the fashion industry, so it makes perfect sense that Liberty’s buyer Stephanie Jones fell in love at first sight with their collection at London Fashion Week this year.
Stephanie was over the moon to hear that Teatum Jones were to be collaborating with The Dorchester to design an exclusive silk scarf to be released at London Fashion Week in September this year. Liberty have since become the only retail parter!
The design has been inspired by story telling, Teatum Jones spent hours into researching The Dorchester and became encompassed in the hotel rich archives. Their scarf shows off the graphic nature of the metal work in the balconies, the bold architecture, and the elegant interiors. They use bright prints against black and white photographs of the staff from back in the hotels early years, it’s very romantic fantasy.
We now just have to wait until the release in a few months, but if you want to be on the front line when this happens, be sure to waiting for Liberty’s doors to open on 18th September, or head over to The Dorchester for The Teatum Jones Afternoon Tea, also on the 18th at 2:15pm and 4:45pm complete with champagne.
