Forbidden Temple, London.

Myself and my partner in crime headed over to Forbidden Temple in Battersea last weekend, and I was certainly more than impressed with the food, service and atmosphere!

I found about Forbidden Temple on Twitter, the power of Social Media these days is incredible,  and I had one of the best Thai meals I have ever had!

We turned up at 5pm, just as they opened as we had spent a cold, rainy day in Battersea Park Childrens Zoo and were cold to the bone!  The team were very accommodating, and we had our first round of cocktails in no time, which were out of this world!  We tried a variety of dishes including the duck spring rolls, and chicken satay to start followed by Pad Thai, and a beef curry for mains, and we finished with a mix of sorbets and a sticky toffee pudding.  The Pad Thai was probably the best I have eaten, and the presentation was very quirky.

Having met a few of the team that work there now, they have some of the friendliest staff around, and certainly made us feel well at home!  I had mentioned when making my booking that my partner in crime is turning 21 this week, and they even brought him out the most incredible chocolate cake ever.  It’s details like this that make the journey there worth it, and make the overall experience outstanding.

After chowing down all of the food and not leaving a crumb, we moved over in to the bar to continue our drinking and try some more cocktails.  Forbidden Temple has one of the longest cocktail menus I have ever seen, and all are very reasonably priced.  If you’re there early on a Saturday like we were they were even half price,  which gives you the perfect excuse to drink twice as much!

My partner and crime and I enjoyed our trip here so much that we have booked a local hotel to come back for my birthday and do the full club night so the cocktails can keep flowing!
