So last night was one of the best gigs I think I’ve been to, and that’s certainly saying something as I’ve been gigging for at least twelve years now! Jonny was just hilarious, and having plenty of banter with the crowd.
Being at a venue like The Borderline really helped the atmosphere of this gig as it was the size a living room, and felt so intimate. Jonny may as well of been sitting on my sofa at home! The only downfall was the price of cider, I think £4.40 for a pint is a little steep!
Jonny’s vocals are always second to none, and he could seriously sing anything and I’d buy it! Having been a follower of his for at least six years now it was great to see him do some solo tunes and really engage with his fans.
He sung a variety of songs from ‘A Dream Is A Question You Don’t Know The Answer Too’ including ‘I Still Feel Her Part 3’ and ‘What I Would Give To Be Australian’ then covers of The Weeknd’s ‘Rolling Stone’ and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Cry Me A River’. All of which were out of this world!
Rumour has it that he even went out clubbing at local bar The Roxy after with fans, what a lad!
