Last night I headed over to the stunning, and very quintessentially British, Montague on the Gardens Hotel near to Russell Square in London. They have a Christmas themed ski lodge in their courtyard that was home to this fun event!
On arrival there were plenty of staff to point you in the right direction, once at the beginning of the event you were greeted by the brain child behind the event who had so much enthusiasm behind him that I knew right there that this night would be something special! After this you were handed spiced pecans, which were incredible, and a vodka. The first of many!
And then to my surprise Santa had taken time off from making toys in Lapland to make an appearance, and he even brought the snow!!
We were given the most delightful canapés in the form of Bratwurst and mini turkey burgers, followed by a divine selection of deserts. My stomach was certainly full to the brim and very satisfied, as was my partners in crime!
The staff were an absolute credit to the company, filled with knowledge, and certainly a lot of banter, getting us to try their home made flavoured vodka’s! Shortbread was a firm favourite of mine, followed by the chocolate.
The Sanctuary, from Covent Garden, were there to offer mini shape and polishes for your nails or a very luxurious hand and arm massage. I know what type of vouchers I will be requesting for Christmas this year!
On offer there was also plenty of Winter Pimms, hot chocolate, Mulled Wine and Spiced Apple Cider. Of course the hot choccy was topped with whipped cream and marshmellows, the Montague certainly know the key to this girls heart!
To top off the fun there was even a hunt to find three mini Grey Goose’s hidded around the venue, sadly we were only able to find two before a group found all three!
Overall this might was a huge amount of fun, great for networking, and a super way to start my partnership working with The Red Carnation Hotel Group.
