The weather may be freezing, but that isn’t going to stop me from wanting to go out walking and enjoying the luscious country parks around Essex. This means the partner in crime needs a nice warm, walking jacket to be able to join me. I chose to use Craigdon Mountain Sports to pick him out a few from their Outdoor Clothing range.
I’ve gone with brighter colours for once as there are some great coloured coats out there!
First up is North Face, probably one of the most well known outdoor brands. For £80 (saving £20!) this is great value for money. The hood is able to be stored away which is great for when it’s not raining!
Next up is another blue choice, can you tell it’s one of my favourite colours! Jack Wolfskin, another super popular outdoor make brings you this awesome jacket, and being this awesome does come at a price! £160 but this does split into two separate jackets, and is top of the range!
Lastly, I’ve drawn myself away from the blue and headed to red, that’s the partner in crimes favourite colour! This is the priciest of the three at £235, and may just be a little too warm for country park walking. I’m thinking this may be more suited to the snowboarding types with colour-blocked styling matches up nicely with a GORE-TEX shell fabric to keep your look fresh, and 80/60gr micro-loft insulation inside keeps you warm all season long!
I love all three of these but will leave it to him to pick out his favourite, he’s paying for it after all!!
