HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY TO MOSHI MOSHI!!
Moshi Moshi, the original kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi restaurant in the UK, is celebrating its 20th birthday in July and August with superb birthday dishes, free treats, special events and 1994 bargain prices. The birthday celebrations will be staggered over the coming few weeks:
On Monday 28th JulyMoshi Moshi will be charging 1994 prices at the sushi counter, with the cheapest plate price at 90p, and the most expensive at £2.50.
If poetry is your thing, compose a haiku on Thursday 31st July, based on the changes in your life since 1994, to be in with a chance to win dinner for two.
Hidden golden tickets on the conveyor belt dishes on Friday 1st August will bring prizes to several winners.
And on Thursday 7th August, Moshi Moshi’s 20 favourite dishes from the past 20 years will be served.
20 years ago, Moshi Moshi opened in Liverpool Street Station to an astounded and hugely positive reception from critics and diners. It is fair to say that most Londoners had never seen anything like it. Maintaining its reputation for serving some of the best food within the now highly competitive London Japanese restaurant scene, Caroline Bennett and her team still lead with their innovative and delicious dishes and commitment to sustainably caught fish.
