On Wednesday night my friend Becky and I headed on down to The Crabtree in Fulham for a Quorn BBQ! I’m a lover of Quorn but Becky had never tried so it was great to see what she thought.
The pub itself was amazing, and were sat in the garden in our own little area.
We were met by Kate and Lucy from Quorn and given a glass of Pimms; could be a worse way to start the evening!
We signed ourselves in, made our badges and got socialising.
We started with trying out some amazing Quorn snacks in the form of Cocktail Sausages and Scotch Eggs.
We also had a talk from Lucy all about Quorn, I’m sure this will shock you:
Quorn Mince is a healthy protein source, it’s low in saturated fat and contains 10.9g of protein per serving. Each 75g serving of mince contains only 79 calories, 10.9 g protein and 1.5g of fat, providing a healthy and delicious ingredient for any mince-based dishes. This is substantially lower than meat mince!
Quorn Meat Free Chicken Pieces are available in both chilled and frozen variants; they are quick-to-cook and perfectly versatile for creating stir fries, curries and casseroles. Each 75g serving contains 10.5 g of protein, only 67 calories and 1.1g of fat, making Quorn Chicken pieces the perfect staple for a post-work-out meal.
Amazing isn’t it; Quorn isn’t jsut for veggies, it’s perfect for your every day diet!
We then cracked on with the BBQ where we were served burgers and sausages marinated in bbq sauce complete with fried onions.
That’s my plate being served up! I had some coleslaw and Cesar salad to accompany making this the healthiest blogger event I have been to!
I love the food, and was so impressed with how everyone else around me loved it too!
The Quorn website is filled to the brim with fantastic recipes so go and check them out and make your lifestyle healthier!
