So, now that we are well into 2015, it is time to get serious about your future and life. Just kidding! It is time to start planning some fun things to do this year. I always find that I make the most of my time when I plan things in advance. If you are anything like me, there will be a million things you want to do, and somehow, there is never enough time to do everything. While you are thinking about things to do, read this fabulous list to give you some inspiration.
Learn some photography skills
Everybody loves Instagram, but what about learning some real photography skills? Rather than messing around with filters and hashtags, you could take a course. If you learn how to take amazing pictures, you can still share them online, but they will be unique. You should look for courses near you and see whether there is one that fits your lifestyle. If you love taking photos, it is time to go pro!
Set yourself some goals
As you know, I am currently training for a marathon at the moment. I don’t mean this to sound like I am preaching, but you need to have some goals. If you don’t have any targets for the future, it’s hard to live your dreams. Write a list of things you hope to achieve this year and work towards it every single day. You might want to set yourself little tasks, such as giving yourself a makeover, or massive goals, such as getting your dream job.
Take a trip with your besties
Spending some quality time with your friends is the best way to relax and unwind. As we grow up, sometimes, we lose touch with the people who matter the most. Plan a few day trips in the UK so that you and your besties can have some time together. Us twenty-somethings still need to have fun, and so you should make the time to chill out with your mates.
Learn how to dance
Dancing is a real life skill. If you are out and your song comes on, you need to be ready to hit the dance floor. If you have never had lessons, 2015 could be your year. You might want to learn the tango or take some salsa lessons. There is a major advantage to dancing, and that is that it keeps you super fit. When you dance, you exercise, without taking a trip to the gym.
Eat better food (but don’t diet)
Everybody starts the new year with a diet. If you have given up already, it is time to change tact. Instead of calorie counting and putting yourself on a strict eating routine, you should just aim to eat better food. Learn some easy healthy dishes and eat well. You need to look after your body, and so eating healthily is a massive help.
Start a blog!
So, I am a little bias about this one, but I think you would all love it. If you want to have some real fun, you should think about starting a blog. I love writing, and so this website has been a whole load of fun to run. I have had loads of fun experiences while writing posts here. If you have an idea for a blog, why don’t you start one? It is that simple. You should think about what you want to write and get started.
I am super excited to see what the rest of the year brings my way. I know it sounds cheesy, but if you plan ahead now, you can make this year the best year so far!
Great ideas. Can dressing up as the Spice Girls just be a thing on its own, please? So. Much. Fun 😀
Of course! I am ALL about dressing up as the Spice Girls!
