I love afternoon tea, but I don’t really like public transport. When you’re served afternoon tea on private public transport, well, that’s a different story really!
I headed out with 18 other bloggers for a lovely Sunday morning thanks to Thistle Hotels.
There were tea, cakes, scones and some seriously good company! I mean I usually spend my Sunday mornings in bed until 12 then stressing I’ve wasted time, but this particular Sunday meant I was up and out by 9am, and had achieved a hell of a lot before heading home to see the family and the chap for lunch by 3pm!
I’m a huge fan of London, and I LOVE being a tourist, who doesn’t in the greatest place earth?! So being able to take in the sights of Big Ben, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Picadilly Circus and so much from the front of a double decker bus is a dream come true!
The food was delicious, the tea even came served in a sippy cup to avoid spillages! The orange juice was damn good too and that’s coming from someone who NEVER drinks the stuff!
I even got them all to pose nicely at the end!!
If you’re looking for something that’s really quirky, great fun and totally touristy this is for you! And whilst you’re in London why not stay in a Thistle Hotel?
