I love a bloggers get together, so when I was invited to meet up with some of my favourite Essex ladies at Cafe Rogue in Loughton for lunch I jumped at it!
Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovley Nikki, and Kelly. I was offered a drink, and upon getting there we were shortly joined by Jen, Tania, Polly and Sam. Some of us had never met before, I mean we all chat on Twitter so it was lovely to get to know these ladies in real life!
But on to the food… The menu was very extensive so I struggled greatly to work out what I actually wanted to eat, and in the end I opted for a sausage baguette with frites.
Seriously, look how much sausage was in my baguette…
I was in my element! There was also mayo and onion hidden behind the sausages which really added to the flavour. The chips were perfectly crispy too.
We had a lot of variety, food wise, on the table including a chicken baguettes, chicken & mash, steak & chips, croque monsieur and the very typically French, Moules & Frites…
We truly let down the world of blogging when we didn’t have deserts, surely no one turns a desert at a blogging meal!?
I have to say, we had a really great afternoon; the service was impeccable and I shall be taking the chap back shortly to enjoy a feast up!
