When it comes to summer I’m all about a cold glass of wine, BBQs and lots of good clean fun, but alas this summer had lots of rain, nights in and drinking with friends and I’ve found the perfect wine for both!
I give you the Barefoot Refresh range, here’s a little info on what they say…
Putting a twist on three classic wine styles – Crisp White, Crisp Red and a delicious rosé titled Perfectly Pink – the range offers wine enthusiasts a light yet flavoursome wine with a distinctive fizz. Whether it’s hosting a lively BBQ for friends, packing a picnic hamper for a day out or simply basking in the outdoor sunshine, the Refresh range on the rocks is the perfect addition at any outdoor occasion.
We created our own occasions to suit the weather which was Crisp White with a lush homemade dinner to celebrate the end of our decorating the bathroom, Crisp Red for dinner with my parents, and Perfectly Pink for drinks with friends before a good game of Cards Against Humanity.
I have to say they went down really well on all three occasions; the red complimented our roast dinner surprisingly well, the pink was great to be drunk over a quick catch up with friends, and the white was so deserved after a long few days painting the bathroom!
I do believe I have found my new BBQ wine as I’m sure they will taste even better outside in the sunshine!
