What could be more patriotic than a traditional roast dinner? This year, Heliot Steak House – the award winning restaurant at The Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square – will be celebrating St George’s Day with London’s first 24-hour long traditional roast dinner of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings – roast potatoes, a veg and lashings of deliciously rich gravy.
Executive Chef Ioannis Grammenos and his team will be offering the roast dinner from 12am on St George’s Day, all the way through to midnight, for the incredible value of only £12.
Opened in 1900 as the Hippodrome Theatre, the building has housed many an icon since its opening, including Judy Garland, Michael Jackson, Liza Minelli and Audrey Hepburn. The Hippodrome Casino today is world-renowned as the UK’s largest and most popular casino.
Hippodrome owner Simon Thomas said: “We may have more than a touch of Vegas to us, but we’re English at heart and how better to celebrate our national day than with a traditional slap up roast dinner. As we are a 24-hour business we won’t be surprised if we get a few breakfast orders.”
