So we have had some of the signs of summer over the past weeks; sunshine, beer gardens, topless men in parks and then crazy downpours. Typical English weather right!
So whilst the sun was out, I took a trip over to Battersea Park for a car show and was stumped with what to wear. I mean, what does a girl wear in twenty-six-degree heat to walk around all day. I opted for a light t-shirt style dress, kimono, frilly socks, and Vans. I still melted. But it did highlight the fact that my legs weren’t ready to be out on display, and I don’t just mean that they are Casper the Friendly Ghost white, they were a little unkempt as well. I wear jeans pretty much every day so I do have an excuse… I think!
This then got me thinking about all the festivals, holidays, and events I have booked in for this summer and queue my research into laser hair removal. Magma Laser Hair Removal appeals to all skin types and requires 4-6 sessions, whilst Candela Laser Hair Removal is for most skin types with 6-8 recommended sessions.
What is Magma I hear you cry… well, Magma is by far the most advanced laser hair removal system in the world which uses a sophisticated light technology called a Diode Laser. This state-of-the-art technology gives the flexibility to tailor your Magma treatment to your requirements and skin type, pretty impressive right?! Thanks to its super-chilled tip and melanin meter, Magma is incredibly safe and, wait for it, it’s 25% faster than other lasers!
But what is Candela, I hear you cry once again… well Candela is highly effective at hair removal and is most suited to Caucasian lighter skin types, and can also be used to treat a variety of other skin issues and complaints, including acne and acne scars, beard bumps, facial or spider veins, leg veins, skin resurfacing, skin rejuvenation, pigmented lesions such as age spots and freckles, stretch marks and wrinkles.
So it seems I’m totally suited to both being so bloody pale, but you know what, I think I’m going to seriously consider the Magma as it’s faster! It’s also slightly more pricey but I’d happily pay more to get it done quicker! Although I’ve heard that laser hair removal is virtually painless I’d still be a little worried. Your skin may be slightly red for a short time afterwards, this is normal and settles within 24 hours, the same as shaving or waxing really.
Have you ever thought about laser hair removal?
I’ve had laser hair removal and its AMAZING!!! I have to go for a top up once or twice in a year but apart from that, I’m virtually hairless, it’s worth the money! 🙂
I’m so fair with dark hair it seems like such a great idea!! Seriously tempted!
