Having never been to Haggerston before, and it pouring with rain we ran into the first place we saw that looked like they would sell food, they didn’t but they gave us direction to what turned out to be an awesome venue!
Dukes, is a BBQ and the home of Beavertown Brewery, so we obviously had meat and beer!
As ever, I had the cheese and bacon burger, and had chilli fries! So naughty I know but I did still manage to lose a lot of weigh last week!
You need to go there, simply as.
We then did a little bit of a crazy…
Yes, we got a Gondola down Regent’s Canal…
Did I mention the torrential rain?!
We then arrived at the House of Peroni, sopping wet, for my 4th year running!
Armed with beers we went on to explore the house and stubbled across some lovely little finds…
The upstairs is where the Masterclasses will be held and it’s so pretty!
I certainly felt like I was abroad with this ceiling!
After drinking up our pints we decided to make tracks home as it was a three train job, but we got a little distracted by the bar we ended up in at the start looking for food!
Map Maison had incredible cocktails, superb service and felt so homely. I will be returning for sure!
We had such a pleasant evening! I always love it when something unplanned turned into such a lovely time!
