I’m a big fan of autumn; the leaves falling, nights in, Halloween and I always make time for some baking too. Brownies and a mug of tea seem to go down with the office pretty well in this kind of weather! And to get me in that baking spirit I’m going to share with you some delights I’ve found online at Vanessa Arbuthnott, a fabric and homeware site that takes inspiration from the Cotswolds. They use organic cotton, recycled paper and biodegradable cardboard; all of the waste card and paper is shredded and used as bedding for thieir ducks and chickens, which in turn makes compost for the vegetable patch! How awesome is that?!
Up first is this cute apron, I think it’s the kind you can wear on Christmas day too. Plus as you all know, I have this thing for stags!
Then there’s the stunning tea towel…
And whilst I was looking I may have got carried away in the washbag section…
Any brand that uses Harris Tweed for homely goods has totally won me over! And they’re nowhere near as pricey as you think they’re going to be which is always such a bonus!
And, dear god, look at these notebooks!
I had to drag myself off the site before I bought everything I could click on but when I finally get the farmhouse kitchen I’ve been dreaming of, I know where I will be stocking up on tea towels and maybe even some of the wallpaper they stock too!
Where do you get your lush homewares from?
