Trying New Make Up Looks with Just My Look *

I’ve never been one of those girlie girls that would spend ages getting ready or put much effort into their make up. Unless we were heading to a wedding or a special when I’d slap on a little red lippy and you know, make some effort! That was until I started spending more time with my girl gang who all seem to be really decent with make-up, making me feel inspired! I made a few purchases and gave it a go; it wasn’t as tough as I though it would be. I then decided I wanted to make more of an effort on a daily basis. So that is when Just My Look swooped in and offered me some new make-up to try from their selection online. I went wild and tried some products I was really interested in and some that just really caught my eye meaning I could up my game a little.

I created a couple of new looks with the products I was sent and I thought I’d share with you what I used and how they looked…

So two of my most favourite products that I picked were the Jolie Beauty Bomb Dot Com 24 Colour Eyeshadow Palette which is essentially 24 shades of epic glitter that made my eyeshadow look seriously amazing! I used the Prime & Fine Eyeshadow Base from Catrice Cosmetics which I applied with my finger to my eyelids and then used the base turquoise colour from my I Heart Makeup Mermaid’s Heart Palette that I got from Superdrug not so long ago. I then used one of the pressed glitters to cover the base making my eyes that much more awesome! To finish off I used the Line To Five Waterproof Eyeliner in Black from W7 Cosmetics to create my rather exaggerated wings and some mascara! On my face, I used Make-Up Revolution Concealer, Rimmel London Bronzer and MUA Shimmer Highlight Powder with Bobbi Brown’s Art Stick in Bare on my lips.

I then created this look with a lot of the same products as I was so chuffed with how well they all worked together. Just a few changes that included swapping my eyeshadow to purple from an Urban Decay palette and matching the glitter from my Bomb Dot Com palette, using the LA Girl USA Eyeliner Pencil in Spectra Blue to line the lower inners of my eyes and my new favourite lip colour; Matte Liquid Lip Paint from Coloured Raine in Red Sea, it’s such a rich colour that lasts so well, even when eating and drinking.

Just My Look have some really great ranges available, in fact they hold  a range of over 4,000 products from 150+ household brands, including industry icons such as ghd to cult brands like The Ordinary.  The postage was super fast and I was worried that items may turn up a little worse for wear having been sent via the post but everything was well packaged and arrived in top condition! I’ve had such fun experimenting with their products that I will be making another order very soon!
