Handmade Luxury Jewellery from Nude Jewellery

I was very kindly given this stunning necklace free of charge in order to provide a review.  However, as always, all opinions are entirely my own.

Nude Jewellery was established back in 2001 by Nikki Galloway and the company was originally based in the quaint village-like area of Shepherd’s Market in Mayfair. This London based boutique quickly became established and celebrated appearances in over 100 publications worldwide giving themselves quite a name around the world! Owner Nikki holds a BA Hons degree in Jewellery Design from highly sought after University Central St. Martins and over the past eighteen years, Nikki has worked on hundred’s of pieces of bespoke jewellery commissions including items for Elle Macpherson and even the Sultan of Brunei!

Aside from creating bespoke jewellery, Nude London has a variety of items available to pick from already created designs. From the lovely selection online, I chose the Vanilla Links Double Link Silver Pendant from the Vanilla Links collection that features two circular decorations, one smaller at 14mm and one larger 17mm that have been ever so lightly hammered to create texture causing them to catch the light perfectly.

Within the Vanilla Links collection, there are variations of my necklace with more circular links hanging from them, a wide selection of bracelets and plenty of different style earrings to choose from should you want to create a matching set.

The necklace comes with a silver snake chain that means the chain lays on your neck without getting twisted.  I chose the 16-inch chain so that it sits quite high up as this suits the clothing that I wear a lot more. I tend to wear a lot of half-open shirts so this stunning necklace can sit on my skin in between my shirt and top underneath meaning it’s easy to see.

So far I’ve worn the necklace with jeans, with a dress and even just a casual t-shirt and it’s gone so well with all outfits. I’m also planning on wearing it to all of the weddings we have booked in this year as despite it being such a simple design, it looks so classy and classic when it’s on.

And on the subject of weddings, I’ve well been eying up the engagement rings on the Nude Jewellery website as they are so different. I’m am all about having something a little quirky and almost certainly want something that’s bespoke or a one-off and some of them have got me lusting big time! With over 19 years experience in designing and making rings, they certainly know what they’re talking about and have such a large variety of ideas.

We all know I love supporting local business so it’s great to see a London based brand doing so well and creating such wonderful pieces of handmade, long lasting jewellery.
